Notes:
We used the Internet and more traditional means.
We operate key e-mail lists (listservs) that involve literally hundreds of doctors, psychiatrists, social workers, university researchers, child protective professionals, law enforcement, and parents.
We did key informant interviews Army Family Advocacy staff, who gave us their experience in prevention.
We attended the 1998 San Diego Children’s Hospital conference, where face-to-face discussions added to our understanding of many perspectives on the problem.
