This database was undertaken by CHILDWATCH INTERNATIONAL in cooperation with UNICEF and UNESCO. The data base is created through a survey of Academic and other research institutions in Europe on their research activities and information collections with relevance to children's rights.
The questionnaire referred to children's rights as described by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, with reference to the various articles according to the way the Committee on the Rights of the Child has clustered the articles in the guidelines for reporting.
Corrections and new information is being prosessed for the database, and an updated version will be available somtime in the future.
