Developing a Training Program

The workbook and tests can be used in residency training for pediatric, obstetric / gynecology, family practice or emergency medicine and in post-residency child abuse fellowship training.

While the course is a valuable tool in providing an introduction to evaluating children for sexual abuse, participating in a mentorship with an experienced practitioner is essential to assuring improved competency for the novice examiner.

Dr. Botash has also developed a Mentor Program Kit that provides guidelines, learner objectives, and evaluation forms.  The fee of $150 covers the kit and a start-up consultation with an experienced clinical provider.
