Our partners at NCPCA New York State are part of a network
of 60 chapters that exist in every state in the USA. NCPCA-NYS has worked with
us to build a very useful model of how a single state is working to prevent child
abuse. Keep your eye on this service: they will grow to be an important Internet
model for state level organizations around the country!
Over the past five years, the U.S.
Army has worked through National Cooperative Extension and the Cornell Family
Life Development Center on supporting family violence prevention efforts at over
100 installations worldwide. Here, Cornell and the Army are collaborating on
development of Web pages that give the worldwide Family Advocacy Programs
access to the best links on child abuse, child safety, family violence and
adolescent violence. An amazing collection of professional manuals and
ready-to-use resources are published online at this site.
